Taofes team participated in Bike-to-Work Day organized by VeloEvolution Association. Thousands of ciclists joined the 15th May Cycling Parade.

Crossroad garden, Hampton Court Palace Flower show
Bulgaria again will have its own garden of colorful exhibition in the prestigious Hampton Court Palace Flower show of the Royal Horticultural Society in Londen. The Bulgarian garden will again be made by Hristo Yordanov, 4th generation gardener. The "Crossroad Garden" refers to the legendary Silk Road, which crossed through Bulgaria. It represents the intellectual exchange and is complemened with the Bulgarian signs: a paths of flowers in the colors of Bulgaria white, green and red. In the tradition of adopting green initiatives, Taofes supports the Crossroad Garden.

Destination Devin and EMAS EASY in Bulgaria
Hotels, Devin municipality and the local hunting association signed in January the Environmental Charter "Sustainable Spa and Wellness Program". Time Foundation and Taofes supported to draft the Charter and to implement the measures in the Charter.

Biogas in Bulgaria
Together with Bulgarian partners, Taofes started a review of technologies for the production of biogas from manure and agriculture waste. Starting from the daily practice of the farms, the most appropriate and pragmatic technologies are reviewed.

Municipal solid waste in Montenegro
Assistance to PROCON in Montenegro results in the draft of tender dossiers for treatment and disposal of MSW and a study for tariff setting. Procurement for these investment projects and the study are expected in autumn 2011 / spring 2012. An assignment of the EC and EIB.

Hazardous waste in Croatia

EMAS EASY in Bulgaria
Together with Time Foundation Taofes starts the introduction of "EMAS Easy" in hotels in Apriltsi (under the umbrella of The Central Balkan National Park) and in Devin in Bulgaria. The project will continue until mid 2012.
